ኢትዮጵያ ነባሮቹን የ10፣ የ50 እና የ100 ብር የገንዘብ ዓይነቶች ሙሉ ለሙሉ በመተካት ለግብይት የሚሆን አዲስ የገንዘብ ዓይነት መጠቀም እንደምትጀምር በዛሬው ዕለት ይፋ ተደርጓል። ይህም አዲሱን የ200 ብር ገንዘብ ይጨምራል።
