Happy Ethiopian New Year beautiful people!!! ??❤️ Today marks the beginning of the year 2008 in Ethiopia. The Ethiopic calendar is derived from the ancient Egyptian calendar, with 13 months, and since the Ethiopians at the battle of Adwa successfully defeated the Italian colonial forces, the nation remained independent and has never conformed to a European calendar, thus today marks the beginning of the year.
