Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed told the public in a televised message the Ethiopian Airforce Attacked TPLF Bases around the city of Mekelle.
He announced the first phase of removing the “TPLF junta” completed successfully.
The Airstrikes were targeted on heavy artilleries that the Ethiopian armed forces believed TPLF might be able to use them to attack other cities. He confirmed that the strikes destroyed heavy rocket launchers and other weapons.
